With more than half of Namibia’s population living in urban environments, the NaDEET Urban Sustainability Centre aims to challenge assumptions about the impact of urban lifestyle choices and offer ideas to change daily actions. All programmes utilise the Urban Centre's interactive learning areas and the town of Swakopmund to engage participants with sustainability outside of the traditional classroom.

The Urban Centre is currently under renovation. It will be reopening in 2025 and offers the following multi-day programmes:

• Urban Centre School Programme
• Urban Centre Community Programme 
• Urban Centre Educator Programme
• Sustainability Summer Day Camp
