Walk-In Day Visit

The NaDEET Urban Sustainability Centre is open to all. It is ideal for locals as well as interested tourists who are interested in environment and sustainability issues. The Urban Sustainability Centre is conveniently located near several major attractions and can be easily visited during a morning or afternoon. The duration of a self-guided visit is normally between 45-60 minutes for walk-in visitors.

Entrance is free of charge. We welcome donations.

Educational Day Visit

Are you a school, university or educational group visiting Swakopmund and do not have time for a multi-day programme, but would still like to visit us?

If so, we are happy to host your group, however we require you to make a booking in advance where we offer a short, semi-guided visit (1-2 hours). Upon special request we can offer a mini-programme (3-4 hours) depending on availability.

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday from 8:30am- 4:30pm.

With special arrangement we are happy to open for you on a Saturday.

Please note we are closed on public holidays.

We are located near the Swakopmund Jetty and the Snake Park.
