Zooming in on biodiversity

“Are there amphibians in the desert?” “ No!” shout the grade 7 schoolchildren. “But I saw a frog!” said one boy! This group of schoolchildren from Oanob PS had the opportunity to investigate the Namib’s unique animals thanks to a full sponsorship from Schwalm School, Germany. They saw the usual tok tokkie beetles, but also horned adders, a sand frog, white lady spider, dune gerbils and a sand snake eating a lizard.
