Since 2015, NaDEET has the support of a voluntary US Advisory Board to support the organisation's fundraising efforts in the United States.
Richard Bittenbender: Rich grew up enjoying outdoor activities through the Boy Scouts of America and working at a summer camp in Maine. He is now retired after a career in financial services that allowed him the pleasure of living in several countries, primarily in South East Asia and Japan, in addition to his native United States. He worked for companies such as Moody’s Investment Services, and the Chase Manhattan Bank in a variety of roles including management, training, and analysis. He currently lives in Connecticut, with his wife Margot. | |
Sarah Bittenbender: A long-time supporter, Sarah's first visit was in 2003 during NaDEET's foundation. Since then, she has volunteered as NaDEET's Development Associate on multiple occasions. Sarah holds a Bachelors in Anthropology from Barnard College and a Masters in Non- Profit Management and Finance from NYU's Wagner School of Public Service. She has over 10 years’ experience in theatre and event management, including Broadway, national, and international tours. | |
Erika Timperman: Erika is a professional event producer and manager in New York City and has a background in theatre management. She has worked on productions in a variety of industries, including fashion, marketing, media, television, and science; and working with clients such as Victoria's Secret, Paley Center for Media, and the World Science Festival. Erika graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She has been a long-time supporter of NaDEET and always considers the environment in her everyday life and work. She currently lives on Long Island with her husband and three sons. |
