WaterWiseWashrooms

At NaDEET Centre we want visitors to learn how to live a sustainable lifestyle. Participants are divided into “Sustainable Living Teams” and share a house, dry toilet and “WaterWiseWashroom”. Here participants learn skills such as:

how to monitor their daily water use by reading an indicator and water meter .
how to wash using a bucket shower
how to use less water and still be clean!

After more than 10 years of the harsh desert climate and 10,000 participants, the eight WaterWiseWashrooms need to be renovated.
