On the road! NaDEET is reaching out to all schools and communities in our local area, the Hardap region. With a self-contained solar and wind energy trailer, NaDEET staff is giving hands-on alternative energy
demonstrations for children, teachers and community members. The goal of the outreach trip is to visit all schools in the Hardap Region that have not yet come to NaDEET to extend a special invitation to
them to visit NaDEET Centre. The outreach started with a short trip to Mariental for two days where NaDEET staff visited three schools and the Ministry of Education Regional office. The second trip will
cover 20 more schools and numerous communities. This tour is the first activity in a three year project funded by the European Union that will enable disadvantaged schools and communities to participate in our programmes.
