Learning to Save Water in the Namib

Schoolchildren from Martti Ahtisaari PS from Windhoek learned the importance of water saving at the Centre recently. They explored how the water cycle works through experiments such as trying to capture water through transpiration. With the on-going severe drought and overconsumption, Windhoek is facing a looming water shortage. These learners, sponsored by the Rotary Club Windhoek, will now hopefully spread the word of how to save water at home and at school. Watch the video here!
